Washington Park

Washington Park is one of Central Denver’s neighborhood jewels, lying just four miles southeast of downtown. Built in 1899, the 162-acre Washington Park, with Smith Lake and Grasmere Lake on each end of a long grassy meadow, has become one of Denver’s premier havens for recreation. Throughout the seasons, Denver residents can be found enjoying all that Washington Park has to offer - the running and biking paths, soccer fields, volleyball courts, mature landscaping, basketball, swimming, the sports club and just about anything outdoors one can imagine.

Residents can walk to nearby “old fashioned” shopping districts where chain stores are nowhere to be found. The Old South Gaylord, Pearl and Bonnie Brae districts surround Washington Park and offer antique shops, boutiques, restaurants, coffee houses and lively nightlife. While vacant land in Washington Park is almost non-existent, redevelopment opportunities abound.

Latsis Custom Homes specializes in redeveloping, expanding and modifying existing Wash Park homes to fit the needs of the modern lifestyle. Latsis has an outstanding track record for developing Wash Park “pop-tops” that provide the requisite modern conveniences while successfully blending with the neighborhood’s architectural character.
